In the framework of the International Po Delta Birdwatching Fair 2005 the Special Programme for Young People combines fun with environmental education and respect for nature. The programme is aimed at primary, middle and secondary schools, as well as teachers interested in the offer of experienced agencies and cooperatives for environmental education.

The International Po Delta Birdwatching Fair 2005 makes "school trips" interesting and helps young people to acquire familiarity with nature, particularly birdwatching and fragile ecosystems balanced between land and water where hundreds of bird species find their ideal habitat.

Therefore we have prepared a special programme for schools and young people called FOLLOW THE ROUTE OF THE PO DELTA. The programme, entirely dedicated to schools and young people, has been organised in cooperation with Italian environmental associations, Universities, education centres, environmental education agencies. The aim is helping young people to become familiar with one of the most beautiful wetland areas in Europe and learn how to live in contact with nature. The programme is extremely dynamic and flexible in order to meet the needs of both the young and their teachers. It proposes the offers of environmental education agencies and co-operatives as well as many interesting events combining fun and learning.
