An opportunity for tourist operators at the International Po Delta birdwatching and nature tourism fair 2007. Here it is the “Bird.T.T. – Birdwatching Travel Trade”, the offer-demand workshop about birdwatching and nature tourism.

In the course of the event, an important meeting  will be held for both Italian and foreign Tour Operators willing to find out about either the Po Delta Emilia Romagna and the Italian and foreign destination offer related to birdwatching and nature tourism.

An appointment meant for all the operators specialised in this sector as a trade meeting opportunity and more. Tour operators from several markets of interest such as England, Germany, Austria, Denmark, United States, Japan will be able to meet either the Italian and the foreign offer in order to establish new relationships for the diffusion of a responsible and sustainable tourism.
The Bird.T.T will thus represent the first workshop of this sector trying to introduce and get together the operators paying particular attention to the environment sustainability and applying it in managing their own structures, especially by carrying out those innovations indispensable to make them eco-compatible.
It will be also an occasion to promote the “green” destinations on markets of interest oriented to an active vacation experience and to the contact with nature, by proposing new travel and accommodation solutions of an ever increasing tourist sector which is being supported through the arrangement of targeted meetings like this.

In this light the International Po Delta Birdwatching Fair is identified as promoter of sustainable tourism also through the BIRD.T.T., meant to encourage a balanced tourist development of fragile areas such as the Po delta. This is about an additional tool helpful in sensitising the public and the operators to the environment and its preservation, necessary not only to stimulate better life conditions but also as playing a crucial role in the development of the local economies it involves.
